Systeminfo: A handy built-in utility

I ran across this earlier today while doing some research - Systeminfo.

Your Windows PC has a nify tool hiding on it. It goes by the name of Systeminfo. It takes only a few seconds to run and gives you a nice variety of information about either your local machine or a network machine.

Drop to the command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd [enter])
Run Systeminfo by typing in ’systeminfo’ without the quotes and hitting enter: c:\systeminfo [enter]

Give it a few seconds and you’re going to get a nice summary of machine information. Enjoy.

You can find additional information as well as command-line syntax usage here.
